Hopefully, there is a spiritual awakening taking place in Generation Z and Millennials. Milton Quintanilla, a contributing writer for Crosswalk Headlines and the host of the “For Your Soul Podcast,” believes there is evidence that many young people are turning to Jesus as their Lord and Savior.
He recently posted an article entitled, “Why Young Americans are Turning to Christ in Record Numbers.”
Many young people have discovered that materialism does not satisfy the soul. There must be more to life than consuming one product after another, and going from party to party. The soul must be nourished as well as the body. The pseudo-intellectual babble offered by so many WOKE and Liberal professors on canvases across the country does not answer the basic questions of life: “Where did I come from?” “Why am I here?” “Where am I going?’
Many young people want these questions answered; they long for a basis for believing in God.
With that audience in mind, some simple but compelling evidence for God is offered.
The first evidence that God exists is the consistent order and complex design of the universe.
In April, 2026, Stephen C. Meyer, a historian and philosopher of science, John Lennox, a mathematician from Oxford University, and James Tour, a biologist gathered to discuss the origins of everything with Peter Robinson, moderator of Uncommon Knowledge.
From that discussion comes the following fundamental fact.
There must be a sufficient reason or First Cause for the existence of the cosmos, as everything that begins to exist has a cause.
Rather than acknowledge God as the First Cause, a worldly search continues for an alternative explanation of the origin of the universe from biology and physics, while conceding the Singularity Theorem, which gave Roger Penrose half of the Nobel prize in physics in 2020.
In its basic form the Singularity Theory states there is evidence the expanding universe had a starting point, which included spacetime itself.
Albert Einstein, who initially favored a static universe, modified his equations after being convinced by Edwin Hubble in the 1920s during a taxi ride, the universe had a beginning.

That beginning did not come into existence on its own for out of nothing, nothing comes. The universe came into existence because the living God, with power to create, called it into existence.
The Bible reveals that God is eternal, and therefore without a cause. It was He who spoke and the world came into existence by the power of the Word (John 1:1), which is necessary to program the code of life.
The second evidence that God exists is the fact that life comes from life. Life does not come from non-life. The animate does not come from the inanimate. The atheist says life comes from non-life. That is not a statement of science or any known fact but a faith-based epistemology or world view that wants to exclude God. It is far more reasonable to believe, “In the beginning God…” than to believe, “In the beginning was eternal material.”
The third evidence for the existence of God is moral absolute. In every person, in every society, there is a code of morality. Something is right, and something is wrong. There is a sense of “oughtness.” We look at a person who lies, cheats, or steals, and say, “You should not have done that.”
The atheist who says, “I should love,” or, “You should love others” is appealing to an objective moral standard outside the realm of materialism. If God does not exist, then all things are permissible. It does not matter if Jews are burned alive in ovens, or are fed, clothed, and given a homeland.
The only basis for the concept of morality to exist is for a mind outside of the human mind who defines and creates that standard.
Billy Graham observed that if a nation has trouble defining a yard, they have thrown away their measuring stick. If a nation has trouble defining what is right or wrong it is because they have thrown away their moral measurement, the Bible, which is the Word of God.
The fourth evidence for the existence of God is love. The Bible says God is love. The God who is love, loved the world so much He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall never perish but have eternal life. However, if there is to be any value in love, if there is any intangible non-material value in love, then there must be an independent God to create and define that value of love. If there is no God, love is only a biological urge, a sex drive, an evolutionary attempt to protect the genetic pool (Cliffe Knechtle). There is enough evidence that love is more than a matter of biology.
Gratuities Beauty is another evidence that the creation is more than a biological urging surviving only by the fittest being strong. Many organisms have beauty beyond anything that is relevant for their survival value according to the Darwinian model. For example, the Picasso Triggerfish is beautifully design but has nothing to do with its survival. “Some are so brightly colored that they’re almost saying, ‘Come and eat me!’” The conclusion is that the Creator is not only a wise “Software Programmer” for the DNA of life, but a Great Artist (Stephen C. Meyer).

What young people are left with is a choice between two worldviews, not a binary choice between faith and science. Science proves the existence of God, while a deliberate world view of denial dismisses Him.
Is the world without definition, meaning or purpose?
Richard Dawkins believes this to be the case.
“The universe that we observe has precisely the properties we should expect If there is, at bottom, no design, no purpose, no evil, no good, nothing but pitiless Indifference.”
In contrast, the Judeo-Christian faith declares,” In the beginning God…” affirming the omnipotent, omniscient, and omnipresent Creator who has a purpose in all that He does, which is to bring glory to Himself, while doing good to His creation.
“The heavens declare the glory of God; And the firmament shows His handiwork. Day unto day utters speech, And night unto night reveals knowledge” (Ps 19:1-2, NKJV).
